Students participating in this course must have access to: 

• Minimum Pentium-level PC

  	Macintosh not recommended, for 2 reasons:
  	1.	Greek Tutor, a required supplement to this course, is PC only.
  	2.	The Greek characters may not display properly when you type in online exams

• Minimum 28.8 modem (at least 56K recommended)
• E-mail
• Local Internet (World Wide Web) provider
  

Mozilla Firefox is the preferred browser. Netscape will work OK too (not version 6), but comes with lot of extras that most folks don't want. Internet Explorer will not display the Greek words properly, leaving spaces in the words that don't belong.
