A 3 credit-hour introductory study concentrating on frequent vocabulary and a basic analysis of the grammar of New Testament Greek (Mounce, chaps. 1-20). |
|
| Course Objectives |
| |
To develop the skills requisite to translating, with considerable assistance, a narrative passage from the New Testament. In particular, these skills are: |

To recognize 225 Greek vocabulary words |
| |
2. |
To parse and translate the Greek noun system, including pronouns, prepositions and adjectives |
| |
3. |
To parse and translate the present and future forms of the Greek verb |

| Course Requirements |

Submit 4 exams (paper or online), within 6 months of enrolling in the course. The first exam is 10% of your grade. The final is 50%. The 2nd and 3rd exams are 20% each. |
