(Note: When typing in MSWord, you'll need to trun off "Smart Quotes" to get the whole font to work. To do so, go to TOOLS / AUTOCORRECT, then uncheck "straight quotes to smart quotes" under both the AUTOFORMAT tabs.)

The following English letters are mapped to their Greek  counterparts, including capitals:

a  b  d  e  g  i  k  l  m
o  p  r  s  t  u  z

The other Greek letters (including their capitals) are mapped in this way:

 
h = h    q = q  x = x 
V = V f = f c = c 
y = y w = w  

                                   

Other characters:

Iota subscript (type after the accented vowel):    = /

Accents (type after the accented vowel):  acute  = v
                                                         grave   = ;
                                                         circumflex    = :

Breathing Marks (type after the accented vowel [before capital letters]):

         smooth = j
         rough   = J
