There
are both paper exams and online exams. The procedure for requesting
them is different.
For
paper exams:
E-mail
or call the Virtual Campus (800-227-2013) one week before you are
ready to complete an exam. It will be mailed to you or your proctor
and you will have one week to complete and return it. You will receive
an email from the instructor with your grade and comments on your
paper exam, usually within one week after your exam arrives at our
campus.
For
online exams:
E-mail
virtualhebrew@rts.edu
one week before you are ready to take an online exam. The URL and
instructions will be e-mailed to your proctor. You will receive
an email from the instructor with your grade and comments on your
online exam, usually within 24 hours of your submitting it.
NOTE: In order for to see Greek
in the answer boxes of the online exam, the computer on which the
exam is to be taken MUST have Netscape 4.x as well as the Mounce
Greek font. It is your responsibility as the student to make sure
these conditions are met.
About
the Exams
|
|
The
exams are modeled on the reviews in Mounce's workbook. |
|
|
All
exams are cumulative. |
|
|
Prepare
for the exams by going over the reviews and by taking the corresponding
Practice Exam. |
How
the Process Works
|
|
READ
the Exam
Proctor Form so you will know what is expected of both
you and your proctor. Note that for paper exams you are to provide
your proctor with a stamped envelope addressed to the Virtual
Campus, in which the proctor is to mail both the exam
and the Exam
Proctor Form to: |
| |
|
Reformed
Theological Seminary
Virtual Campus
2101 Carmel Road
Charlotte, NC 28226
For online exams, the proctor fills out an online proctor
form.
|
|
|
NOTE:
Your exam is VOID without the Exam
Proctor Form! |
|
|
YOU
are responsible to return the exam to the proctor on time.
Do not expect the proctor to keep track of your time. |
|
|
You
must take the exam in one sitting, using only a pencil, pen,
or for online exams a computer. You must enclose
any scrap paper with the exam. |
|
|
Any deviation from the procedure or on the Exam
Proctor Form will result in nullification of your exam! |
